About
We are a family-run cut flower farm. We are working to fill every nook of sun in our yard to grow as many vegetables and flowers as possible. Thoroughly unimpressed by the flowers in the stores and florists I was driven by the challenge of growing my own. I quickly became consumed by the process and have decided to share these beautiful locally grown flowers with my community.
I’ve been in the garden since I was a child. My grandparents ran a vegetable and flower farm in Wisconsin and I can still remember running through the greenhouses. I continued to spend many hours weeding and harvesting in my mom’s elaborate gardens throughout my school years and now am constantly on the phone with her and my sister consulting what to grow next. With this new adventure I’m coming back to my roots.
The Team
MacGyver, my husband, but also know as Eric basically handles all the things I can’t. From building and filling the raised beds, to putting the finishing touches on the logo he has earned his nickname.
My boys are my biggest supporters. They love seeing what is blooming and naming the dahlias that come from seed. Their pride and support in what we are doing keeps me going.
Ande thrives out in the garden driving the squirrels and bunnies away. She joins me every night after the boys are in bed when I do most of my planting, weeding, and harvesting.
